Encore 77 Taphouse is founded by two longtime friends Shane and Ryan, who spent years dreaming about opening a place of our own. After decades in the corporate world, we decided it was time for a change. The result is a space built on community, conversation, and a shared love of craft beer and music.

Ryan grew up in a musical household and Shane has been playing music for years. Music has always been a part of our friendship and now it’s woven into the feel of this place, too.

Located in Newberg, Oregon, Encore 77 is a welcoming taphouse offering a rotating lineup of craft beers from across the Pacific Northwest and other great craft beer regions, along with a thoughtful selection of local wines, ciders, cocktails and more. Whether you’re here to catch the game, enjoy live music, or just relax with friends, we’ve created a spot where everyone feels at home.

The name “Encore” is a nod to second acts and meaningful new chapters because it’s never too late to start something you’re passionate about. And “77” represents the year we were born. A symbol of our lifelong friendship and the foundation of this journey.
